Christ’s Chosen Group of Schools Gwarinpa, Abuja Nigeria is one of the Mission Schools established by the Christ’s Chosen Church of God International with its Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State Nigeria. It is an arm of the educational Agenda of the CCCG to raise Godly seeds with a balanced moral training, Academic excellence, Entrepreneurship spirit and services to humanity.

The vision to construct and commence academic activities in 2014 by the former Spiritual Leader of the Church, Late Senior Apostle Dr. J.E.E.O Osasuyi, of blessed memory had the foresight for developing educational capability of the Church by impacting the future of our teeming youths. In 2014, he appointed a six-man panel led by Senior Apostle D E. O UNUEFE, Prof. Patrick Ehigie, Engineer Frank Asuen and Mr. George Osasuyi to established the Abuja School in September, 2014. Thereafter, at the demise of the former Proprietor, the new Proprietor, Snr. Apostle Dr. D. E. O. Unuefe-Ikhuiwu (The Elect of God) set up a committee to review the activities and running of school from 2014-2018 and to come up with recommendation to stabilizing the school.

It is instructive that the responsibility came up with decisions and recommendations that led to the suspension and closure of academic activities.

The Elect of God who is passionate in contributing to the development of future leaders through education because of invaluable benefits it portends to the totality of mankind, re-visited the earlier decision in 2018, and directed that the school commences full academic activities in 2025/2026 session. He matched his words with actions by localizing the School Board in January 2025 with Members of the Church in Abuja to give more impetus to implementing his directive and the following members are in the re-opening Team: Senior Apostle Dr. Cyril C. Ayansi (Abuja Divisional Head), Most Senior Elder Peter U. Aikohi, Councilor Deacon K.O. Ogbonaya, Elder Ephraim Orji and Elder Solomon S. Alimi (Board Secretary). The work done by this team has led to commencement of academic activities for Creche, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary, Junior and Senior Secondary.

The school has 63 classrooms with administrative building that houses the home economics/master chef Laboratory, science laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric, technical Drawing Lab, Fine Art Class school library and ICT laboratory, and Special Needs Centre.

The school is well equipped with state-of-the-art modern facilities of both Academics and co-curricular activities. It is a co-educational school, British Nigeria curriculum with unbeatable serene environment that enhance learning and set a model for character building and academic excellence.
